Chris brings over two decades of experience in urban planning and development, with a career that has shaped communities across the Lower Mainland. Currently serving as the Director of Development Services for the City of Coquitlam, he leads strategic initiatives that drive responsible growth and housing solutions.
Before stepping into this role, he held leadership positions in the Township of Langley and the City of Port Moody, overseeing development planning and major projects. His expertise spans urban planning, project management, and public engagement—skills he honed through years of service at the City of Coquitlam in various planning roles.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Urban and Rural Planning from Langara College, he is deeply committed to shaping vibrant, sustainable communities
